My latest passion has become the whales of the Salish Sea. Being from the region I have developed a particular fondness for the local Orcas but I enjoy seeing any of them when I head out on to the water.

Island Adventures is my go to whale watching charter as they have shown to me that whales are a passion of theirs also and they whale watch responsibly observing regulations and species restrictions and following a philosophy of letting whales approach and not chasing.

The whales that I have encountered on my adventures are below in order, Orca, Humpback, Gray, and Minke.
