Whales, Whales, and Wildlife in Maui
Humpback whales migrate in the winter to warmer waters for birthing and I thought they might be on to something. Opting to travel for a vacation and not birthing I just got back from a vacation to Maui, Hawaii. While there I was able to enjoy dozens of whale encounters.

East Coast Whale
I found myself on the East Coast visiting Long Island and like with San Jose I had to take some time to check out the local whales. For this trip, I decided to go out with Long Island Whale and Seal Watching out of Freeport, NY.
Otterly Owesome Trip
Headed out for round two for the day we made a beeline west again to Canada, but as with any whale trip every time is different. While we headed to nearly the same area we found ourselves in this morning and we found ourselves another Humpback Whale.
Humpback Morning
Finally back out on the water after a busy summer, I headed out on the morning trip to start the day off. We started off the day with some Harbor Seals on some rocks, and among them was even a cute little pup! We then made a quick break out south of the islands straight towards Canada continuing west toward Race Rocks. We were almost there when we got wind of a Humpback nearby and we veered off to intercept
