Whales, Whales, and Wildlife in Maui
Humpback whales migrate in the winter to warmer waters for birthing and I thought they might be on to something. Opting to travel for a vacation and not birthing I just got back from a vacation to Maui, Hawaii. While there I was able to enjoy dozens of whale encounters.

On The Waters of Monterey Bay
Work sent me on a trip to San Jose, California for a week of training and me being me the first thing I looked up was how close I was to the ocean and if there were any whale trips I could take. I found a trip offered by Santa Cruz Whale Watching booked it and headed down to San Jose.

The First Part One
oday will be my first doubleheader of the season and starting the day off the skies were clear but the air brisk. We headed south down past Port Townsend to the furthest I have gone south but the rumors proved true and the trip was worth it! We found a pod of Orcas that we were told was the T137’s. This was quickly confirmed thanks to the presence of T137A, Jack with his towering dorsal with two knicks in it.

Back On The Water
Beautiful blue skies welcomed us back onto the water for the first Anacortes trip of the 2021 season! Grey Whales, Harbor Porpoise, Eagles, and more!
