Humpback whales migrate in the winter to warmer waters for birthing and I thought they might be on to something. Opting to travel for a vacation and not birthing I just got back from a vacation to Maui, Hawaii. While there I was able to enjoy dozens of whale encounters.

Rebooting - My Return To Sharing

After being away for awhile I think that I am ready to return to things. In truth I never stopped taking pictures, but after the daily grind and pressure of 2018's posting a photo a day I needed to step away and reboot. The 2018 Photo a Day challenge was amazing for me and transformed how I view and interact with my camera. In the end though it took a toll on me, and once I put my camera down for a break I couldn't bring myself back to the grind.

Though I stopped sharing, I never stopped taking photos (just not daily anymore) and I want to start working towards sharing again.
