Whales, Whales, and Wildlife in Maui
Humpback whales migrate in the winter to warmer waters for birthing and I thought they might be on to something. Opting to travel for a vacation and not birthing I just got back from a vacation to Maui, Hawaii. While there I was able to enjoy dozens of whale encounters.

The Birthday Treat
This trip was a birthday outing with my parents. We headed out with a plan to go south but took a detour up to the southern tip of Lopez near Long Island where we met up with Biggs Orcas T77c & T77d.
The Great Heat Escape
With Seattle in the midst of the heatwave of the century, I set out to escape the heat on the water. The trip was an afternoon trip so the captain already knew exactly where the whales were hiding.
Double Header (PM)
Right out of the gate we headed south stopping for nothing, the captain had heard of Orcas to the far south and we were on the chase. We made our way all the way down to Port Townsend and sure enough found two Biggs Orcas T125a & T128 out hunting for dinner.
