Whales, Whales, and Wildlife in Maui
Humpback whales migrate in the winter to warmer waters for birthing and I thought they might be on to something. Opting to travel for a vacation and not birthing I just got back from a vacation to Maui, Hawaii. While there I was able to enjoy dozens of whale encounters.

End Of A Season
Well, today wraps up the 2021 season, and I was able to go out on this trip with my girlfriend. We were not able to track down any Orca, but we found something even better and more elusive!
Break In The Storm
With the Island Explorer 5 still out of commission for engine repairs the trip was on the Glacier Spirit which Pudget Sound Express was able to lend Island Adventures. The weekend had started out stormy so I was worried about this trip but as we headed out the skies cleared and the sun even made an appearance.
The Trip That Didn’t (PM)
We headed out of the marina for the last afternoon trip of the season and hooked south, but realized we had company following us. A small private boat was keeping a close tail on us, the captain opened up the throttle to jokingly race and try and shake them. The joke was on us though…
